Common Name Schildhauer's Cyrtochilum

Found in Amazonas state Peru as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte at elevations around 2300 meters with narrowly ovate, somewhat compressed, minutely rugose, narrowed apically pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 to 3 imbricating leaf-bearing sheaths carrying a single apical, narrowly lanceolate, conduplicate, thin, leathery, tapers to acute apice leaf and tapers to a basal narrow petiolate stem and blooms on an erect, to somewhat arching, axillary, 6" [15 cm] long, peduncel to 3" [7.5 cm] long, paniculate, 2 to 3, ascending, to 4 flowered branches, several flowered inflorescence carrying small rather cup-shaped flowers
