Found in the Dominican Republic and Haiti as a small sized, cool growing epiphytic twig orchid from the higher cloud forest at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters on lichen covered, small shrubs close to the ground with moderate shade and good ventilation and has long, thin, unthickened stems carrying 2 apical, narrow, thin, dark green leaves and blooms in the spring and summer on an erect or arching, single flowered inflorescence with bracts spaces at intervals that arises from the apex of the stem and is longer than the leaves.
