Found in Bolivia at elevations around 1400 meters as a small sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with small, somewhat cylindric pseudobulbs enveloped by 2 to 3, large lang-acuminate, scarious sheathsw and carrying a single, apical, erect, linear-lanceolate, acute, coriaceous, rigid, shortly conduplicate below into the base leaf that blooms on an axillary pendulous, racemose, peduncle to 3.2" [8 cm] long and the rachis 4 4" [10 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence with inconspicuous, thin, narrow floral bracts and carrying gently fragrant, non-resupinate flowers.
