Found in Junin Peru at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-minature sized, cool growing epiphyte with small, caespitose, oblong-cylindrical,, deeply striate-rugose when dried, pseudobulbs enveloped by several, distichous, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, very fleshy, narrowly linear, semicylindric in cross-section, acute, sessile into the cuneate base leaf that blooms on numerous, lateral, basal, commonly loosely branched to paniculate, short, more or less recurved, successively single, several flowered branches, many flowered inflorescence with wide spreading, lanceolate, concave floral bracts and carrying very small, membraneous flowers.
