Found in Chongquin province of China at elevations around 1800 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a leafless stem carrying 6 tubular sheaths that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, erect, pubescent above, rachis to 1.6" [4 cm] long, densely more than 120 flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, glabrous, 1 veined, obtuse floral bracts
