Common Name The Hooded Hemipilia - In China Er Ye Dou Bei Lan

Found in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Siberia, China, Korea, Japan, western Himalayas, eastern Himalayas and Nepal on heathy grasslands and open hillsides at elevations of 2700 to 4500 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying 1 to 2, basal, lanceolate-ovate, acute, reticulate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a 1.52" to 2.48" [3.8 to 6.2 cm] long, subdensely 8 to 18 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
