Common Name The Small Leaved Neottia - In China Xiao ye dui ye lan

Found in northwestern Yunnan Province China on grassy slopes at elevations around 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying 2, opposite, below the middle of the stem, sessile, orbicular-ovate, minutely glandular hairy on both surfaces, obtuse-acute apically, broadly truncate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, glabrous then sparsely pubescent, 1.6 to 3.4" [4 to 9 cm] long, laxly 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with 1 sterile bract below and sub-ovate to ovate-lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
