Found in Chongqing China as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem with a sheath towards the base and carrying 2, opposite, borne at the middle of the stem, subcordate, basally slightly cordate, subacute, leaves with bract-like ovate-lanceolate leaflets up the stem into the similar floral bracts that blooms on a terminal, erect, pubescent, to 2.6" [to 6.5 cm] long, laxly 7 flowered inflorescence.
