Common Name The Yunnan Neottia - In China Yun Nan dui ye lan

Found in southeastern Yunnan Province of China in mixed forests at elevations around 2300 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 2, opposite, below the middle of the stem, sessile, ovate, acute to mucronate apically, slightly cordate below into the base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal, erect, pubescent, a single sterile bract, rachis 5.6" to 6.4" [14 to 16 cm] long, 24 to 35 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, nearly as long as the pedicel floral bracts.
