Common Name The Spotted Nervilia

Found in Myanmar, Thailand and Laos at elevations of 300 to 450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing terrestrial with a globose tuber giving rise to a short stem carrying a single, at a right angle to the stem, almost round, scalloped margins, acute, dark purple spotted on green, deeply cordate into the petiolate base leaf that blooms without the leaf on an erect, 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with a large bract below the middle and a smaller acuminate one above
