Common Name Winckell's Nervilia [German Botanist in Peru early 1900's]

Flower Size 2 1/2" [6.75 cm]

Found in western Java in primary forests within humus at elevations of 900 to 1400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with orbicular, somewhat kidney-shaped, 5 to 7 faint lobed, purple in youth becoming greener as it matures, purple petiolate base leaves that blooms on single flowered inflorescence.
