Found in Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, Surinam and Brazil in rain forests at elevations of 100 to 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, twig epiphyte with conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblong, obtuse, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms an a basal, pendent, 8" [20 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
