Found in Santa Cruz Bolivia in wet montane forests at elevations around 700 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with approximate, ovoid, compressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a pair of foliar sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, sub-coriaceous, apiculate, carinate beneath, lanceolte-elliptic, conduplicate below into thebase leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, pedendent, racemose, 4" [10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence carrying whitish flowers.
