Found in southeastern Venezuela and northern Brazil in rainforests at elevations of 100 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, soft, fleshy, elliptic, lightly asymetric apically, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an arching then pendant, pale green, racemose, 3" [7.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence
