Found in Venezuela, Guyana, Peru and northern Brazil at elevations of 100 to 250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with small, narrow, compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, light green, somewhat fleshy, soft, linear, acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a pendent, 4" [10 cm] long, moderately compressed, several to many flowered inflorescence
