Found in western Sumatra without elevational data as a small sized epiphyte with close set stems carrying 8 to 9, spreading, incurved above, linear-lanceolate, acute, not jointed, cleft above the base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, 6.8" [17 cm] long, cylindrical, rachis greenish brown, eight ribbed, glabrous, densely many flowered inflorescence.
