Common Name The Southern Yunnan Oberonia - In China Dian Nan Yuan Wei Lan

Found in southern Yunnan province of China in forests on trees at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphytye with a very short stem carrying 2 to 3, subbasal, distichous-equitant, laterally compressed, ensiform , slightly falcate, articulate basally, obtuse to acute apically leaves that blooms in the later fall on an axillary, nearly compressed cylindric, winged on both sides, 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with several, small, ovate-lanceolate sterile bracts and nearly broadly ovate to broadly elliptic, floral bracts.
