Found in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi at elevations of 1200 to 1600 metersa as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, flexuous stems carrying 5, very short, linear, acute, basally jointed leaves that blooms in the fall on a 1.2" [3 cm] long, peduncle, rachis 3.2" [8 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence holding the flowers in whorls of 5.
