Found in Java in moist and fairly dark forests at elevations of 600 to 1740 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with short, close set stems carrying 6, large, rather thin, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, peduncle to 3.2" [8 cm] long, rachis to 6" [15 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence holding the flowers in irregular whorls of 10 flowers.
