Found in Sumatra and Java in montane forests at elevations around 600 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 3 to six, lanceolate, acute, light green leaves that blooms in the summer on a pendulous, 6 to 10" [15 to 25 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with long-triangular, concave floral bracts.
