Common Name The Mengla Oberonia [A city in south Yunnan Province of China] - In China Meng La Yuan Wei Lan

Found in southern Yunnan province of China in forests on trees at elevations of 700 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphytye with a conspicuous stem carrying 2 to 4, distichous, slightly equitant at the base, laterally compressed, linear, slightly falcate, thick, articulate towards the base attenuate apically leaves that blooms in the later fall on an axillary, subterete, longitudianlly grooved, wingless, 3.2 to 3.6" [8 to 9 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with several sterile bracts in the lower part and a greenish foliaceous bract just above plus ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate, toothed margin, long acuminate to shortly aristate apically floral bracts. , 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with several, small, ovate-lanceolate sterile bracts and nearly broadly ovate to broadly elliptic, floral bracts.
