Flower Size .15" [3 mm]

Found in the Ryukyus and in Taiwan in forests on trees at elevations of 400 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphytye with a stem carrying many, distichous-equitant, laterally compressed, ensiform to linear, not articulate basally, acuminate to acute apically leaves that blooms in the later winter through late spring on an axillary, 4 to 4.8" [10 to 12 cm] long, many flowered inflorescnece with ovate-lanceolate floral bracts and .04 to .08" [1 to 2 mm] between each whorl of flowers.
