Found in Thailand and China at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with narrow, non-jointed leaves held in a loose fan, that blooms in the fall and winter on an axillary, 7.2" [18 cm] long overall, rachis 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with triangular, irregularily dented, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and holding the flowers in close, somewhat irregular, 8 flowered whorls, becoming looser towards the apex.
