Found in Tamil Nadu India at elevations of 800 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized , warm to cool growing terrestrial orchid with a short stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying articulate at the base, oblong-ensiform, acute to subacuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, arcuate, flattened and adnate to the reduced, uppermost leaf, peduncle to 5.6" [14 cm] long,rachis to 3.6" [9 cm] long, distinctly sterile tip, many flowered inflorescence
