Common Name The Basilan Oberonia [An island within the Philippine archipelago]

Found in the Philippines as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with coriaceous, ensiform, acuminate, very acute, ascending leaves that blooms on a teminal, erect, peduncle to 5.2 to 6" [13 to 15 cm] long, bracteate, thin, rachis to 4.8" densely many flowered inflorescence with triangular-lanceolate floral bracts and carrying subverticillate flowers.

Ames stated that this species is close to O insectifera and O toppingii but can be distinguished by not having denticulate, oblong petals.
