Common Name The Short Scape Oberonia

Found in the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia in tropical valleys at lower elevations around 450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying, in a fan, 3 to 4, acute, nearly straight leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, longer than the leaf, short scape, 2" [5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with whorls of close set flowers.
