Found in northern Queensland in sparse scrub along stream banls at elevations of 300 to 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a short stem neveloped by leaf sheath bases carrying 4 to 6, short, erect, fleshy, light green to reddish, sessile, ensiform, obtuse leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, arching to pendulous, shortly pedunculate, 1.2 to 2.4" [3 to 6 cm] long, with numerous whorled bracts, many flowered inflorescence carrying porrect, non-resupinate flowers.
