Found in Guangxi province of China in forests at elevations of 800 to 1100 meteres as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying 3 to 4, sub-basal, distichous-equitant, laterally compressed, subensiform, fleshy, acuminate, articulate basally leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, peduncel, subterete, wingless, many ovate-lanceolate to narrowly ovate bracts, 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, rachis 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with ovate-elliptic, floral bracts.
