Flower Size

Found in New Guinea at elevations around 10 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short rhizome giving rise to a short, erect, densely leafy stem carrying 6 to 8, erect-patent, obliquely lanceolate-ligulate, acute to obtuse leaves that blooms in the early winter on an erect, pedunculate, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, rachis to to 2.8" [7 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, equal to the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechtere states that the flowers are conspicuously small and orange red in color.
