Common Name Elmer's Oberonia [American Botanist and orchid collector in the Philippines 1900's]

Flower Size

Found in Benguet Island of the Philippines at elevations near 1450 to 1580 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a leafy stem completely enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases and carrying yellowish green, nearly pendulous, sword-shaped, thick conduplicate, acute, tapering to a point, very flexible leaves that blooms on an elongate, many flowered inflorescence carrying the flowers in tight whorls.
