Found in Queensland Australia on sheltered rocky slopes, open forest, scrub, mangroves and rainforest as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a stem enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying 4 to 6, bright green to yellowish green, fleshy leaves that blooms in the summer through early winter on a terminal, arching , 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with a few small bracts and carrying whorls of 6 to 8 flowers.
