Common Name The Kanburi Oberonia [A town in Thailand]

Found in the Chinese Himalayas and Thailand in forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-minature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem enveloped by linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, terminal, 2.4 to 4" " [6 to 10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with irregularily fringed floral bracts and carrying ocher yellow flowers with a lighter yellow petals.
