Flower Size

Found in Leyte Island of the Philippines at elevations near sea level as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short, densely leafy stem completely enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases and carrying 6 to 8, sword-shaped, thick conduplicate leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, to 2.8" [7 cm] long, curved, slender, many flowered inflorescence with longer than the pedicel, triangular-lanceolate, acute floral bracts carrying the flowers in tight whorls.
