Common Name The Linear Leaved Oberonia

Flower Size

Found in Sarawak Borneo at elevations around 1280 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying 5 to 10, narrowly ensiform, linear, patent, acute, distichous leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect then arching, shortly pedunculate, 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long overall, many flowered inflorescence with triangular, acuminate floral bracts.

Ames stated that this orchid is closest to O neglecta but this one differs in the apical lobe of the lip and the proportionally shorter lateral lobes and in the slightly larger flowers
