Found in the eastern Himalayas and Nepal in tropical valleys at elevations around 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect to pendent stems enveloped completely by imbricating lleaf sheath bases and carrying 4, large, oblong, subacute, slightly falcate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, terminal, decuved-pendent, ebracteate, winged, 1.6" [4 cm] long, peduncle, rachis slender, subterete, to 4.2" [10.5 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with oblong, obtuse, erose, longer than the ovary floral bracts that sheath the ovary.
