Common Name The Rust Red Oberonia

Flower Size .24" [6 mm]

Found in Thailand and penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and Borneo in lowland forests as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a stem enveloped completely by imbricate, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying very oblique, acute, upper edge nearly straight, outer edge incurved towards the tip leaves that blooms on an axillary, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying the flowers in rather irregular whorls
