Found in the the eastern Himalayas, India, Assam, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 50 to 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short not tufted stem carrying very fleshy, broadly lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late fall and winter on an axillary, fleshy, terete, not adnate to the leaf, verticillate, deflexed thick then tapering towards the apex, 1.35 to 2.8" [2.8 to 4.5 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with ovate-orbicularerose. fleshy, acut floral bracts.
