Common Name Proudlock's Oberonia [Bristish original collector of species later 1800's]

Found in Tamil Nadu India at elevations of 900 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect to pendulous short stems enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying not articulate, ovate-oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, terete peduncle to .8" [2 cm] long, rachis to 2.8" [3 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary, suborbicular, obtuwse, lacerate floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow, scattered or adpressed to the rachis flowers.
