Found in New Guinea at elevations around 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with avery short rhizome giving rise to an erect, short, densely leafy stem carrying 4 to 6, erect to suberect, linear-falcate, acute, glabrous leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect to arcuate, short, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, subdentate, glabrous, more or less shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
