Found in southern India at elevations of 600 to 1700 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool, erect to pendulous growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying articulate aat the base, oblong, obtuse to acute, dirty brown leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on a terminal, erect, flattened peduncle to 3.2" [8 cm] long, rachis to [19 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary and pedicel, lanceolate, acute floral bracts carrying verticillate, reddish brown to straw colored flowers.
