Found in Papua New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations of 25 to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a somewhat elongated, laterally compressed stem carrying, 3 to 9, laterally compressed, unjointed, disitchous, conduplicate, rather fleshy, linear, falcate-incurved, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, 2.4" to 4.8" [6 to 12 cm] long, many [80 to 200] flowered, racemose inflorescence with the flowers held in loose whorls along the entire length.
