Found in northern Borneo in wet lower montane forests at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying distichous, equitant, closely imbricate, each blade appears triangular, obtuse leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, densely many flowered inflorescence.
