Found in the New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, clustered stems carrying 5 to 8, erect to suberect, linear, acute, subfalcate-oblique, glabrous leaves that blooms in the fall on an elongated, densely many flowered, 2.4 to 5.8" [6 to 14 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, almost as long as the ovary floral bracts.
