Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Thailand, Malaysia and Java at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a short, pendant stem carrying non-jointed, oblong-ovate, acute, compressed leaves that blooms in the spring or summer on a verticilliate, terete, 4.2" [11 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, subentire to irregularly serrate, sparsely gland-dotted floral bracts.
