Common Name The Short Leaved Oberonia

Flower Size .06" [1.5 mm]

Found in India in the western Ghats at eleavtions of 500 to 700 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect to pendulous stem enveloped completly by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying oblong, ensiform, acuminate leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, erect, terete, shortly pedunculate adnate to the uppermost leaf, rachis to 2.8" [7 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with shorter than the pedicel, ovate-lanceoalte, acuminate floral bracts and carrying orange yellow scattered along the rachis.
