Found in southern India at eleavtions of 1500 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold, pendulous growing epiphyte with out a stem with basally articulate, ensiform, acute to subacuminate leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, rachis to 12" [30 cm] long, flattened and adnate to the reduced uppermost leaf, pendulous, many flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, iregularilly denticulate margins, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying subverticillate yellow flowers
