Found in Sumatra at elevations of 1900 to 2300 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close set stems carrying 4 to 8, linear, incurved and narrowed gradually towards the apex, acute leaves that blooms on a pendant, 6.8" to 10" [17 to 25 cm] long, glabrous, ribbed inflorescence with the flowers well separated in irregular spirals
