Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a simple, densely leafy stems carrying erect-spreading, equitant, subulate-linear, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect,half as long as the leaves, laxly 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with oval, apiculate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are yellow.
