Common Name The Costa Rican Octomeria
Flower Size .3" [7 mm]
Found in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama in wet montane forests as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect, terete ramicaul enveloped by 4 to 5 sheaths and carrying a single, erect, ligulate, subacute, contracted below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a fasciculate, short, single flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.
