Common Name The Yellow Flowered Octomeria

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Venezuela and Guyana at elevations around 1500 to 2300 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect stems enveloped almost completely by 4 to 6, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect to spreading, linear-oblong, minutely tridenticulate, attenuate and sessile base leaf that blooms on numerous, fasciculate, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying membraneous yellow flowers with the apices and borders of all parts red.
